حاصلة على درجة الماجستير في الفلسفة من جامعة ابن خلدون بإسطنبول، عن أطروحة بعنوان «نقاش العلمانية في العالم العربي على أساس تصنيف العلمانية عند المسيري». I hold an MA in Philosophy from Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul, for a thesis titled “The Debate on Secularism in the Arab World, Based on al-Messiri’s Classification of Secularism.”
يتمحور اشتغالي البحثي حول سؤال الدولة ونظام الحكم. وأنطلق فيه من أن أنظمة الحكم لا تُستنسخ بين المجتمعات: فلكل مجتمع طبيعته التي تُنتج نظامه الخاص، ومن ثمّ تكون دراسة المجتمعات المدخل الأساسي للإجابة عن سؤال الدولة، وللمساهمة الفاعلة في إنشاء نظام قادر على النفاذ. My research centres on the question of the state and systems of governance, proceeding from the premise that such systems cannot be copied from one society to another: each society has a nature that produces its own system. That makes the study of societies the primary route to answering the question of the state, and to contributing meaningfully to a system capable of taking hold.
ويمتد هذا الاهتمام إلى الحالة المجتمعية للمرأة في العالم العربي والإسلامي، وهو حقل تغيب عنه الدراسات غير المتحيزة، رغم أثر فاعلية النساء في المجتمع وفي نظام الحكم معاً. This concern extends to the social condition of women in the Arab and Islamic world — a field in which unbiased scholarship is largely absent, despite the bearing that women’s effective participation has on society and on governance alike.
وإلى جانب البحث والتدريس الجامعي، أحمل خلفية ممتدة في الصحافة والاتصال المؤسسي والعمل المدني، تمنح اشتغالي صلةً مباشرة بالواقع الذي يدرسه. Alongside research and university teaching, I carry an extended background in journalism, institutional communication, and civic work that keeps my scholarship in direct contact with the realities it examines.
